The A C and Fuel Management Dilemma Part II

Manufacturing quality, and fit and finish are top-notch fromJoker Machine. But it isnt cheap. At all.
The new Joker Machine air cleaner is now installed. They tried to scam me out of a washer, but they promptly express mailed me another one the day I emailed them - how bout that for customer service! It looks okay I think. Its not quite as sweet as I was hoping for, but its a big improvement from the gigantic stock crap that was on there before. Ill keep it for now. It is definitely well made.
In terms of fuel management, the tuner at the shop likes to use a Dobeck TFI 3rd generation unit (http://www.dobeckperformance.com/GEN3/Gen3technology.asp). I think its a standard piggy back item. The part that the tuner says he especially likes is that it uses some sort of "load-based technology." I cant tell you what that means exactly but the tuner seemed to think of it as a positive thing. Theres no question it has made a huge impact on how the bike feels. Throttle response and power are significantly smoother now throughout the entire rev range, and the motor runs noticeably cooler as well.

This is basically the same thing, only the one I got says, "Battley Cycles" on it.
